LINK Towing announces a Change in its Marketing Guard
Wilsonville, OR (July 9, 2009) LINK Towing, a leading distributor in the Hitch & Tow industry has announced that Amy Clancy will be stepping down as its Marketing Manager as of April 2009. Amy will continue to be an active part of LINK planning events and their annual dealer conference but has decided to stay at home with her 8 month old daughter. Her replacement, Jeff Johnson has officially taken over the helm and will be leading LINK in the marketing endeavors for the future.
“Leaving {LINK} was a tough decision for me” says Clancy. “which is why I feel so lucky to be able to still be an integral part of the event planning and execution. Tradeshows such as NATDA and NATM are key places to highlight LINK and our business models and I am excited for this opportunity.”
Jeff Johnson comes to LINK with over 20 years of strategic marketing experience. Most recently, Jeff worked at Yakima Products as a Marketing and Sales Manager. While at Yakima, Jeff was responsible for developing marketing strategies for the national Jeep campaign and implementing co-branding and marketing for the Yakima brand campaigns for Subaru and Leer. “Jeff brings a lot of enthusiasm for the Hitch & Tow market and I couldn’t ask for a better replacement” states Clancy.
“Having a Marketing Manager like Jeff on our team will help further our strategic business growth as we continue to look at new opportunities and markets” Mark Jenson VP of Sales & Marketing stated “People have really taken notice that LINK is no longer just a regional distributor and is now seen as one of the national players in the market. While we will miss having Amy Clancy at the helm, we know that having a manager like Jeff on board will help continue our focus on growth and brand marketing.”
